Born out of the strong social justice work of Fourth Presbyterian Church, Vinton Street Hope Initiative (VSHI) was formed as a 501(c)(3) in 2008. We support efforts that strengthen families in an area that includes two nearby housing developments, and give hope through programs that combat hunger and youth violence, facilitate music and art lessons, and provide family and elder care.

We support services that touch the lives of over 1,500 youth and families each month. Our programs honor and respect individuals of all faith traditions, including those with no faith tradition.
